About

Dr. Yasir Ashraf is a distinguished author and scholar in the field of Sociology awarded Doctorate under the supervision of Dr. Sampath Kumar, Professor and Dean, Bharathiar University Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Headi/c, Department of Sociology at VET Institute of Arts and Science (Co-Education) College, Erode affiliated to Bharathiar University Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, he has served as Research Associate under WASH: RUSA 2.0 sponsored Thematic Research Project in Social Sciences, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He is an active editorial member of the International Journal of Education, Culture and Society and member of Board of Studies for Affiliated Colleges by Bharathiar University Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Ashraf is a Life Member of Society for Environment and Sustainable Development, New Delhi, India. With a notable publication record, his research has been published in renowned national and international journals. Dr. Ashraf’s research areas encompass Sociology of Education, Medical Sociology and Research Methodology. Dr. Ashraf actively engages in community initiatives and projects related to social causes, supporting organizations and is a participating Institute coordinator under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan a flagship programme of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. His dedication to academia, notable publications, and commitment to social causes reflect his passion for understanding society and making a positive impact on the world.
